Troop meetings serve to motivate
boys, strengthen patrols, promote patrol spirit, learn and practice
Scouting skills, organize future activities, and exercise leadership.

The patrol leaders'
council is made up of the senior patrol leader, who presides over the
meetings; the assistant senior patrol leader, all patrol leaders, and
the troop guide. Patrol
Leaders present the ideas and concerns of their patrol and in turn
share the decisions of the patrol leaders' council with their patrol
members. The
patrol leaders' council plans the yearly troop program at the annual
troop program planning conference. It then meets monthly to fine-tune
the plans for the upcoming month.

The troop
committee is made up of the committee chair, who presides over the
meetings; the secretary, treasurer, advancement chair, equipment
coordinator, outdoors/activities chair, membership chair, training
chair, and other adult volunteers. The scoutmaster and on occasion, the
charter organization rep and unit commissioner attend the meetings. The Troop committee's primary responsibilities are supporting the
Scoutmaster in delivering a quality troop program and handling troop
administration.

The board of review is a
meeting held individually with Scouts who are up for advancement
to ensure they have completed all of the requirements, to determine the
quality of their troop experience, and to encourage them to advance
toward the next rank.

The Court of Honor is a
formal recognition ceremony with families and friends for Scouts who
have moved up in rank or earned merit badges and other awards.

* Fundraising through Popcorn Sales in the early Fall *
* Various Service Projects in our Community *
