Each Pack is allowed to tailor the traditional Cub Scout uniform to meet the needs of their Pack. The information below is specific to Pack 16.
Parents/Guardians will need to acquire:
- An official blue Cub Scout shirt (Tigers thru Webelos) or an official tan Boy Scout shirt (AOL) - long or short sleeve
- An official generic or rank specific Cub Scout belt
- An official generic or rank specific Cub Scout hat

Cub Scouts may wear any dark blue shorts/pants, and may make or purchase a neckerchief slide (neckerchiefs must not be tied). Any socks are acceptable. No open toed shoes; shoes must be appropriate for activity. Uniform items can be purchased at a scout shop (local shops listed below), the official store online (www.scoutstuff.org), or an official scout exchange (http://www.ascoutisthriftyuniformexchange.com).

The pack supplies:
- Rank badges
- Awards (patches, cards, belt loops and pins)
- Pack number patches
The patches can be sewn onto the uniform (recommended) or optionally use patch kits which allow for ironing them onto the shirt. The kits can be ordered on the scoutstuff.org website, or found at craft stores. Proper placement of patches can be found online.
